Modernization of approximately 214,000 SF of existing structures. Following the 10-year master plan completed for the campus, our firm was retained to perform the modernization of Franklin, Clausen, and Jefferson Halls. Work included replanning and adapting all the interior space for new classrooms, labs, and offices. The buildings were upgraded for accessibility under the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), as well as the abatement of hazardous materials, structural improvements and upgrades, and the addition of new fenestration. Planning included establishing administrative and clasroom clusters for seven academic departments.
