The apartments are organized around a double-loaded exterior corridor that follows the oblique "L" shape of the site (formed by Glendale Blvd., 1st St., Douglas St., and an alley). The apartments at the upper level light-frame wood structure cantilever over the original Marionette Theater.
The project faces the Beverly Blvd. / 1st St. elevated bridge and viaduct, another historic monument of the City.
